The following information is to help you when you have booked your space at Art in the Nave. However help is on hand to answer any queries that you may have at any time before the exhibition at artinthenave@gmail.com

Preview Invitations, Posters & Flyers

The 2024 Festival will open with an invitation only licenced preview evening on Friday 25th August at 7.00 to 9.30pm. Guest tickets will be allocated to you to share with family, and friends. This is a great opportunity to show and discuss your work with invited guests and meet with potential clients.

You may wish to use our posters and flyers to help promote the Festival. 2024 Art in the Nave Poster

Price Labels / Sales tickets

Artist sales tickets are supplied in strips of 12 – separate these by cutting along the cuts marks as directed. These combined tickets should be used for each article ( except cards) to display your name, title of the article and price. Attach the label to the reverse of your picture or ceramic item for example with only the price section showing. When an article is sold the remainder of the ticket will be used to record the sale.

Each sale will be paid for at the central pay desk. Customers can pay by cash / cheque (made payable to St Mary and St Paul PCC / debit or credit card. All sales will be recorded and the 25% commission taken away and the residue payable shortly following Festival. All items will be wrapped and labelled then taken by the customer or stored for collection.

 

Set Up and Break Down and Opening Times

SET UP – is scheduled to take place between 10.30 am and 4pm on Thursday 22nd August 2024. . All works of art must be labelled for the preview at 7.30 pm. Please remember to bring extra art with you to replenish art sold during the preview and festival.

 

Festival Opening Times:

Friday 23th August  - Preview Evening 7.00 - 9.30 pm (by invitation only)

Saturday 24th August 11am - 5pm 

Sunday 25th August 11.30am - 5.30pm

Monday 26th August ( Bank Holiday) 11.am- 5 pm

 

Exhibition break-down and departure

the Festival closes at 5pm on Monday 26th August at 5pm. Artists display stands can not be dismantled before 5pm Artists will be asked to pack their stalls before bringing vehicles to the access points for loading. Stewards will be on hand to assist in this process.

 

Security / Health and Safety

Volunteer stewards will be on hand throughout the Festival and will be as vigilant as they can to ensure the safety of the public and art work. We would also ask that all artists’ take reasonable precautions throughout the Festival to ensure their own safety and that of members of the public.
