Come and Visit

Art in the Nave Festival 2023 - Saturday 26th to Monday 28th August (Bank Holiday)

Art in The Nave is an initiative to support local artists, bring arts and crafts to local people and in turn bring more people to the Old Town High Street of Hemel Hempstead and the National Monument that is beautiful and historic Norman church of St Mary (1140-1180). It is an event organised entirely by volunteers enabling much needed funding to be raised to support local charities.

The summer art show and sale 2023 will focus a bright spotlight on the visual arts when it opens  Saturday 26th to Monday 28th August 2022

The three-day festival, represents a major event in the arts calendar with an Exhibition and Sale of works by up to 40 artists. We are delighted that our favourite artists continue to support this prestigious event  and we are very happy to make new artists a welcome addition to the team.

Art lovers attending the exhibition will be able to view and purchase a wide selection of excellent paintings, sculpture, textiles, glass, ceramics, silverware and hand-made jewellery. Art in the Nave offers something for everyone and is a great opportunity for a family day out. Facilities will include light refreshments.

Entrance will be £1 only or donation, free entry for anyone under sixteen. Event-organisers will make a significant donation from the proceeds to nominated charity partners -
